Rynoland Open Practice Schedule for March 2010

Rynoland’s tracks are open for practice Tuesday, (NEW!) Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday through out the month of March for only $20 per person. All of the tracks are currently open, but subject to change with the weather conditions. Currently, conditions are amazing after the rains, so bring your buddies and come out and ride with us. Be sure to look for the new “Rynoland” signs that will get you to the track, off the 371. Rynoland is just a few minutes past Cahuilla Casino…turn at Bautista Road and then follow the signs to our facility…See you there!

Scheduled for Saturday, February13th (Open practice & sign-up) and Sunday the 14th (Race), the FMF Rynoland GP has classes for all riders riding levels, beginner to pro, with a 100% Pro Payback for 250f & 450f pro classes.

The FMF Rynoland GP will also feature the “FMF 2-Stroke Challenge”, open to all pre-mixers with classes for 125, 250 and 500cc 2-stroke motorcycles. This is sure to be a highlight of the day.

With the current rains, the loamy DG soil at Rynoland should be in optimal race condition. One thing is for sure: Dust will not be a problem!

Come join Ryan and a host of legends at Rynoland this weekend for our inaugural event!

February 14, 2010 Rynoland Motocross Grand Prix Race Recap

“The conditions for this weekend’s FMF Rynoland Grand Prix could not get any better”, said Rynoland founder Ryan Hughes. The recent rains did indeed make the dirt just “EPIC” for our first grand prix and we had a great event. We had beautiful weather all weekend and the riders seemed to be very pleased with the riding conditions. We had a great turn out for the February 14th Rynoland Motocross GP.

Our “flex schedule” which allowed sign ups in each class up to one hour before the race begins worked out really well, with riders arriving throughout the day. The course had rave reviews from most of the riders as being “fun and it flowed well”. It was a fun weekend and the staff at Rynoland would like to thank all that came out and participated in our first inaugural Rynoland MX Grand Prix event.

We have another Rynoland GP in the works for this spring, so be sure to check our website for upcoming dates and schedules.

“Ride For the Cure” Announced for Saturday, October 2, 2010

Rynoland is pleased to announce our second annual hosting of “Ride For The Cure”, benefiting Michelle’s Place in Temecula. Michelle’s place is a local Breast Cancer Resource Center that is very involved with our community and bringing awareness to the disease. Last year’s event was held on October 3, 2009 and was extremely successful. We had a wonderful turn out, thanks to Laurie Carey and the Michelle’s Place crew. They did a wonderful job promoting the event and we had a great turn out. It was a lot of fun for everyone involved and all the proceeds went to a great cause. Mark the date in your calendars now, as we expect this year’s turn out to be even bigger! Join us in supporting an event that is continually growing in our sport. So many lives are affected by cancer each and every day. Let’s all come together to support those fighting and those surviving!

RYNOLAND’S 1ST ANNUAL MOTOCROSS GRAND PRIX: POSTPONED until February 14, 2010

Due to extreme weather conditions, Ryan Hughes and the Rynoland staff have decided to reschedule the race. “This last storm just has not let up and the tracks and facility are going to need some TLC” commented Ryan Hughes after his visit to the track early this morning. The race was scheduled for this weekend, Sunday, January 24 after the Second Anaheim Supercross.

A new event date of February 14, 2010, which is Sunday after the last Anaheim Supercross race, was announced with the hopes of better weather conditions. Hughes added, “We want our first GP to be epic and with the last storm continuing through Friday afternoon, we just don’t want to risk the weather and not having enough time to prep the track and facility for the race.” Rynoland has received an astronomical amount of rain with the last three storms, with snow in the forecast this afternoon and through the night. The track held up well until this last storm, but the staff at Rynoland are “on it” and have continued working, even through the storms.

In lieu of Sundays race, Rynoland will have their famous Off-Road/GP loop open from 9-4 PM for open practice. Cost will be $20 per person. Rynoland will be closed Saturday, as the staff will be working on the entire facility. The course will be prepped for a fun day of riding and Ryan is looking forward to spending the day out at the track with everyone that comes out Sunday. It may be a bit muddy, but it will for sure be a great time! We hope to see you there!

This is a great article that was in Cycle News last week featuring Rynoland and Kawasaki at the Ride For the Cure, on October 3, 2009. We are looking forward to working with Laurie Carey and Michelle’s Place again next year in bringing further awareness to Breast Cancer. We had a great day and it was fun, while supporting a wonderful and much needed resource for helping those families that have been touched by breast cancer. Enjoy!

VIKINGS MC BIG 6 RACE AT RYNOLAND, DECEMBER 5 & 6, 2009

In 1995 six District 37 motorcycle clubs came together to form the Big 6 GP Championship Series. The purpose of this new organization was to promote off-road racing by giving racers six unique and challenging venues that all shared the same high quality organization and a standard format. The hosting clubs have over 115 combined years promoting Grand Prix events in Southern California. The Series is now 7 rounds, and is sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association District 37. The races are held at different locations in Southern California. Each race course is directly influenced by the natural terrain and local environment of its unique location so the rider will never get bored riding the same location every round of the series.We have classes and races for all skill and age levels. We provide 100% trophies and awards to all kid entrants, and 15- 20% trophies to all other classes.

Sunday, November 1: Over the Hill Gang Club to Race at Rynoland

The Over The Hill Gang will be out at Rynoland, Sunday November 1, 2009 for their Vet Race. The Over the Hill Gang is one of the largest Veteran Motocross Clubs in the country, open to racers 30 years and better. They normally race twice a month and have five classifications of riders including: Beginner, Novice, Intermediate, Expert and Pro, and feature classes for 30+, 38+, 45+ and 52+ age groups.
